The Story of McDonald's, Continued

 
We have now located to San Luis Obispo from San Diego where we had sold our multi million- dollar company, and are now exclusively teaching people just like you how to have your own business.

 
In early 2000 I was missing the plants, and decided to start my little plant business again.  I never figured with a population of only 40,000 that it would go very far, but I liked the idea of having a few accounts so when members came here for seminars I could do hands on training.  My daughter Victoria called and told me a friend of hers had moved his kitchen cabinet business into a retail space nearby. She had visited their new space and told the decorators her mom had a plant business and they needed some plants, just like when she was younger at McDonalds.

   
They had a Chamber of Commerce mixer coming up and asked me to come right over.  An hour later I had a $220 Plant account.  During the Chamber mixer the president of EDA Civil Engineering was there to see what might work for their new home, loved our plants and referred us to their new office. A few months later we had EDA for $455 a month.  About 6 months later they referred us to their buddies down the street; John Wallace and Associates that was another $400 a month.

When I sold my final little plant business here in SLO a few months ago to Miguel Barranon, a long time employee and Cal Poly grad, he took over all these accounts.

Miguel called just the other day and told me he had been referred to another civil engineering firm!  Just a few accounts and your business really is on its way!    Come join us, this really is a wonderful business!
